I always look forward to weekends. I am sure that I am not alone in this, but this week end was super fun... More so than most.
My Aunt Suzi & Uncle Wes (and family) are in town from Phoenix. I always love when they are in town because the whole family gets together for family parties. We have so much fun when we are all together with aunts, uncles & cousins.
Friday Night: We went up to Park City to hang out with our family in their town home that they own in Deer Valley. All of the cousins played games, watched movies, & played video games. All of the adults just sat around the huge kitchen table and talked and talked and talked. We finally left there at about 1:00 a.m. We were so tired but it was so much fun.
Saturday: We got up early (for a Saturday) and got the kids to their Primary Practice/Party by 9:00 a.m. They had a good time there. Steve and I came home and I got my stuff together to go scrapbooking all day and he went to work. I went scrapbooking with Natalie, Katrina, Julia, Cindy, Jenn & Patty. We had so much fun. It is always so fun to hang out all day with girls and just chat about whatever. Steve said that work was pretty slow... I am not surprised because it was snowing outside and I can't imagine buying a garage in the snow. I guess the heating business is good though.
Scrapbooking was from 10am - 10pm so I was gone all day. The kids went Halloween shopping with Karen to pick out costumes (every year that is her treat). Then they went to a movie with her.
Sunday: The kids had their long awaited Primary Program. They did such a great job. I love to listen to all of them up there. Not one of them forgot their parts. It is always fun to see all of the cute kids in our ward get up and talk in church. I love to see all of our friends kids as well as our own. We happen to have the greatest Primary Leaders in the world in our ward. Glenn my father in law has a little crush on Kelly Taeoalii (our president) and for obvious reasons... she is so much fun.
After church Steve went home teaching while the kids and I hung out at home. Then around 4pm we went to Grandma Camille's for another family party before they all leave tomorrow for Phoenix. The whole family was here except for Grandpa & Grandma (they were still in Phoenix). It really is just fun to hang out and talk to family. The kids play so good together there is never... no hardly ever any fights with them. We are finally home and I have a few minutes to myself.
I really love this blog and I really love to read all of yours who have started one... Another Challenge... there are still a few of you who are holding back and haven't started one... I won't mention any names - Lisa :) - but just start one. I am leaving to read about all of you.

Avoiding cleaning my house...
I am not sure if you can tell but I am sitting here trying to avoid the tasks that I hate... like cleaning my house. Don't get me wrong I LOVE a clean house I just don't love the process of getting it there.
The last few days happenings...
Monday: Shawn's 6th grade class went up to Camp Tuttle (if any of you have seen "Daddy Day Camp" it is the camp they go to. It is a team building camp. I was able to go as a driver. We had so much fun. It was really great to see the kids use different leadership skills to figure out ways to do things. In perfect Shawn fashion he told me about 5 times "Mom, thank you so much for coming and driving... I really had fun with you there with all of my friends." How cute is he.
For family night we helped my baby sister in her new house that she is renting with friends...
Tuesday: school, dance, karate, soccer, dinner at Chipotle at about 8:00pm. Tuesdays are our crazy, crazy days.
Wednesday: I was able to have a break and go to work. That is always fun. I think that I might have the greatest job in the world. I love to plan parties and events... What a great thing to spend money on fun party things and decorations.
We had Bonko tonight... I love to be with our bonko friends. They are so much fun. We had three that couldn't come... we MISSED them, but our subs were fun too.
After bonko got over at about 9:15pm I had another friend (Nicole)come over to plan the Room Parent Orientation for PTA... She stayed until about 11:45 pm. We had fun though. I am too old for late nights like that.

I am new to blogging...
I am new to this fun world of blogging. I have been reading my friends posts for a couple of months now and I am addicted. I am not sure if all of this computer mumble jumble will ever make sense but I will try this for a while. So I will still have to figure out how to put pictures on the post, change the font and a few other small items.
