Random Pictures of my last couple of weeks... LONG!

I haven't been a very great blogger the last couple of weeks... I have been super busy (just like everyone else). So I thought that I would post a couple of highlights in pictures.

First: Hawaii - I haven't posted pictures... here are a few.

Second: The cute kindergarten "Hoe Down". This is one of my most favorite days in kindergarten. I just love, love, love it. ;

Next: The Sand Dunes in St. Anthony, ID Last weekend. Here is our kids FULL of DIRT EVERYWHERE! I am still cleaning their heads from the dirt... eeeewwwwww gross... but fun!

Last: I went to the schools retiring of the flag... WOW! That was way more emotional than I had planned for. How amazing the 6th grade kids and teachers who helped did on this. What a great experience for the kids... one they will remember for along time. I know that I will. I love this country and I am so thankful for the men and women who fight for our freedom. I wish that I had my video camera to record it - I would love to watch it again. What a great day!

Murray Max Boys U9 Soccer Team!

Yesterday & Today Cameron tried out for the Murray Max Competitive U9 Soccer Team. Cameron eats, sleeps, drinks soccer. It is his whole world so for that reason the last two days as his Mom I could not eat, sleep, drink while waiting for him to find out if he made the team or not. He has wanted to play on Murray Max since as long as he can remember. He was pretty confident that he would make it. I was just hopeful. Well we got the call tonight... HE MADE IT! He is so excited. You could just see the weight lifted off of his shoulders when I told him that he made it. He had the biggest grin the rest of the night.

CONGRATULATIONS little buddy! We are super happy for you!

Happy 6th Birthday Ashley!

I can't even believe that my baby is six. She is such a big girl. Ashley is very ready to be in 1st grade. She can't wait to be there at the "big kids school" all day with her siblings.

I remember the day she was born just like it was yesterday. I loved every minute of having her be a tiny tiny baby. She was just 4lbs 8oz when she was born. She was a fighter - she thought she was a big kids even then. She is such a cute little girl (she will even tell you that). We told her tonight that she is pretty and she said... I know. We said are you humble or not humble. She asked what that meant and we told her... she said NOT HUMBLE. That is totally her personality.

She is a funny funny girl. She loves babies (real or pretend). She loves barbies, princesses, pollys, coloring and just about everything else. She really loves life and loves to live it to the fullest.

I love you baby! I can't believe you are already six.

Happy Birthday Princess!

Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day. I hope you had a great day! I woke up to (I pretended to be asleep) my kids and Steve bringing me breakfast in bed. They brought me cute presents that they had made me at school and a few little things that Dad had bought for me. We got dressed and went to our sacrament. We then went to my Mom & Dad's singles ward for me to speak there. I spoke with the other counselor's daughter and the bishop's daughter. Everyone did a great job. I was SUPER nervous but it ended up being great. After we went to dinner at Little America... I know it is Sunday and we don't usually do that but on Mother's Day my dad always takes us there. After dinner we went to see my Grandma (my Mom's Mom). It was all in all a pretty great day!

Thank you to all of my girlfriends. You guys really are an inspiration to me on how to raise a family and be a Mom! Thanks for your examples... everyone of you.

Happy 54th Birthday Mom!

Today is my Mom's 54th birthday. For her birthday party she decided that she wanted to take all of us to Hawaii... I guess if you have to twist my arm I will come to the party. For her birthday I thought that I would list some of my favorite things about her.

~ Her love of parties.

~ Her love of making everything a little more special by the presentation of it. She wraps the best gifts and makes even the littlest gifts look really great.

~ She is a great cook and presents that great too.

~ She loves to go get Diet Cokes with diet cherry and lime with me.

~ She is super great with my kids.

~ I love that she loves to hang out with my dad and they really are still are in love.

~ she always wants all of us involved in everything together and makes sure that everyone is included.

I really love to hang out with her and we have a lot of fun together.

I love you Mom!

Church in Kauai...

So last night Steve had the great idea of going to church in Kauai. We told the whole family and they thought that it sounded like a good idea. We decided that we would leave in the morning at 8:40 am because the church was just 5 minutes (if that) away. Well what we didn't know was that on the small island of Kauai there are not a whole lot of road signs on the side roads and some times addresses are wrong... needless to say, we finally made it to sacrament at 9:25am... at an address that was totally different than the one we were looking for but with the same ward number... go figure.

It was fast Sunday (obviously). It was so great to hear the testimonies of the saints out side of Utah. The two very best parts were when Steve got up to bare his testimony and also when they had the whole ward come up to the front (which was only about half of the congregation) and they sang to the visitors Aloha Oei (not sure how to spell it) and passed out handmade yarn leis made by on of the elderly sisters. It was really cool.

The rest of the day we swam at the ocean and the pool. I MUCH MUCH prefer the pool... it is so much cleaner. I am not o fan of cleaning out sand out of EVERYTHING and EVERYPLACE.

We are having a great time with the family.

Kauai, Hawaii...

I am sitting here in Kauai, Hawaii at the Marriott watching my kids sit on the balcony play cards... what a cute site to see. I am going to try to upload some pictures but if I can't I will do it when I get home.

We played on the beach today in Honolulu and then flew over here to Kauai. What a beautiful island Kauai is. It is probably the prettiest. I am glad to be here and have a little break from reality. We have needed it lately... Steve has worked so much and I have been super busy with sports and school stuff for the kids.

Aloha!
