Sponge Curlers...

As I was getting Ashley out of the bathtub tonight (Saturday) I realized that I won't have a little girl to put sponge curlers in her hair much longer. She is growing up and pretty soon won't think they are cute anymore. I will miss the cute look of my baby girls with jammies on and sponge curlers in their hair.

Disclaimer: I have tried post the pictures last night and all day today but for some reason CAN'T. Anyway... just think of my cute "baby" in curlers.

My mom used to put our hair in sponge curlers every Saturday night. She would then put a pair of her nylons on our head to keep the curlers from falling out over night. We used to pretend that the legs were our beautiful long flowing hair. Good thing I don't have any pictures of that. Could be a blackmail picture with nylons on my head.

I haven't been able to post pictures either. Somethings up with blogger. I put Emmy's hair in curlers on Sat. night too. I've had that exact same thought about being sad to see that era end.

I guess I need to get on the bandwagon and try sponge curlers in Cambrie's hair while she'll still let me. I'll have to get some pointers from you guys on how to use them to make her hair cute. I don't know what to do with them.

I can't believe how old your kids are getting! I think it was just yesterday you moved in across from my parents! Alyssa looks adorable by the way, and I hope all worked out with her ex, maybe not so ex boyfriend!

I have never used sponge curlers or any curlers for that matter. I think Jaxynn would love it if I did!!

I have very vivid and sometimes painful memories of my mom putting three braids in my hair every saturday night after my tubby. She yanked and had no care for soft heads. I bawled.

Zoe stopped letting me touch her hair LONG ago (and she's only 8). They grow up too fast!
